You will be the highlight to contributing to the positioning of Maddox as a Value-Added Distributor. The Pre-Sales Technical team is responsible for providing technical support and solution to new existing corporate customers on device-based data security solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced industry professional with strong core technical skills to join and add value to a dedicated and friendly team. Pre-Sales Consultant must be able to articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical users. Primarily engaged in a presales technical consultancy role, the consultant will provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales and post-sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, and supporting business sales teams, account managers and partners to close business deals.
Primary Duties Responsibilities
Proactively looking for ways to creatively position our device-based data security solutions and services by incorporating specific industry expertise and business, functional knowledge
Actively driving and managing pre-sales process with direct and channel customers
Working closely with sales team to provide clarifications and answers to customer queries requiring deep product expertise on timely manner
Carrying out Proof of Concepts to demonstrate how device-based data security solutions meet customer requirements and deliver value-added service
Developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of device-based data security solutions and similar competitive products to effectively compares/competes and position our solutions
Installation, implementation and configuration of device-based data security solutions on customer sites.
Demonstration and training of device-based data security solutions and services to customer and partner representatives
Post installation support like troubleshooting issues related to product or OS.
Provide accurate and timely information, including activity reports, PoC tracker, project forecasts, KPI’s
Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise work accordingly, willingness to travel through sales territory
Excellent communication, both oral and written English
Confident presentation skills
Great interpersonal skills with internal teams and experiences interacting with customers / channel partners
OS: Working experiences on Linux OS preferably
Know-how about vi commands, networking, SSH etc.
Antivirus, Linux, vi commands, networking, SSH, VMWare, Pre-sales, Software Implementation Installation
- 2 - 5 years of IT experience
- B.Eng./B.Tech/M-Tech/MCA or equivalent degree from a recognized institution
- Scripting: UNIX Shell scripting
- Virtualization: VMWare/Hyper-V or any other Software/Servers: Knowledge about Exchange Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Mail servers or portals/web technologies Database: PostgreSQL or any other DB
